This legislation is comprised of a few pieces of legislation.
The original underlying piece allows for local school districts to propose new pathways for students to the State Board of Education.
The second portion is HB963 which instructs the State Workforce Development Board, State DOE to issue a list of technical credentials that students can learn and be certified in to utilize in finding jobs in the private sector.
It finally included HB759 to ensure those who gain eligibility for special needs scholarship do not have to regain it.More information on legis.ga.gov
