HB 840 Revenue and taxation; penalties and interest in the event of military service in a combat zone; provide exemption

Voted on Thursday February 22, 2018

Michael Caldwell's thoughts

This protects members of the military serving in combat zones with an exemption from penalties for unintentionally failing to pay taxes/fees while they’re at war. They are still due to cover these costs, but cannot be penalized for missing an occupational license fee while in a war zone.
