This establishes a fund within the Office of the State Treasurer to be used for
tuition and other eligible expenses incurred by eligible students enrolled in private schools. The number of students who can participate in this program is limited to one-quarter of one percent of the statewide total public enrollment for the 2017-2018 school year.
Children who would be eligible:
1. Low Income
2. Foster Care
3. Military Kids
4. Special Needs / IEP students
5. Students who have been bullied
It is capped and can never exceed .025% of students statewide (one quarter of one percent).
