HB 35 Sales and use tax; certain poultry diagnostic and disease monitoring services; create exemption

Voted on Thursday February 21, 2019

Michael Caldwell's thoughts

This proposed constitutional amendment would allow the General Assembly to dedicate fee funds to specific purposes (rather than the current structure which feeds all fees into the general fund regardless of their stated purpose).
Passed last year as HR 158 but did not make it through the Senate.
