HB 157 Medical advertising; certain certifying organizations; revise certain criteria

Voted on Friday February 24, 2017

Michael Caldwell's thoughts

This legislation repeals a provision we passed last year. The provision requires that physicians be certified under one of two boards in order to list themselves as 'board certified'. It turns out there are many more boards- which set us up as picking winners and losers. This repeal will return the process to free market principles.
