NRA PVF awards Michael Caldwell highest possible grade

The National Rifle Association PVF has given Michael Caldwell an “AQ” grade, the highest possible grade for a candidate who does not have a voting record on Second Amendment issues.

“The National Rifle Association is America’s foremost defender of Second Amendment rights. Since its inception in 1871, it has also been the premier firearms education organization in the world. Purposes and objectives of the NRA include protecting the right to keep and bear arms, furthering the shooting sports, marksmanship and safety training, and the promotion of hunter safety.”

“The NRA Political Victory Fund (NRA-PVF) is NRA’s political action committee. The NRA-PVF ranks political candidates – irrespective of party affiliation – based on voting records, public statements and their responses to an NRA-PVF questionnaire.”

Michael Caldwell believes that every American, by constitutional right, should be able to bear arms. As a Representative in the Georgia General Assembly, Caldwell will devote himself to protecting the right of Georgia’s citizens to keep and carry their weapons. Every American has a right to defend themselves and to own the tools with which to do so.

A gun owner and carrying citizen himself, Michael Caldwell is a strong advocate of the Second Amendment. With growing opposition to gun rights across the country, Caldwell believes Georgians must remain vigilant in maintaining and expanding our freedoms surrounding gun ownership.
